Police told the Connecticut Post that on Sept. 4, they responded to a burglar alarm at the Bass Pro Shop and found that a window had been smashed. A .50 caliber muzzleloader rifle worth $629 had been stolen from the gun case, the Connecticut Post reported.
The father of one of the teens, identified as 19-year-old Wegueson Simeon, reported to police that he found the gun under his son's bed, according to the Connecticut Post. Simeon's accomplice was later identified as 19-year-old Dominique Reid, according to the Connecticut Post.
Both teens were arrested on burglary charges and released on bond, according to the Connecticut Post.
